If Lord willing, we have planned this year's Youth Conference in the well-known financial and entertainment capital of India called Mumbai, to get youth from north Indian states to come and learn on how to be disciples of the Lord Jesus and to be victorious in Christ. Here are the details to pray and sponsor this historic event for God's glory. Dates: April 29- May 1, 2010. at Mumbai, India

><> What is this Youth Conference all about? As we are all aware, the world is more focused on young people as half of the population especially in India is made up of young people. If we have to disciple and train people for God's Kingdom, we need to begin with young people. Many Christian youth in north India do not have access to proper, systematic biblical and practical teaching to live victorious lives, so many are living defeated lives and have no testimony in the world. Through this youth conference, we aim to focus on equipping the next generation with skills to be winners in life and to be powerful witnesses for Christ to their own people.

><> Why in Mumbai? Since majority of the unreached people in India are living in north Indian states of Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Punjab and other states, our focus is to get youth from these states. Mumbai is ideally located and well-known, young people can easily come to the city from anywhere in north India (also south India). It will enable more more youth to participate from all over India. (earlier plan to hold at Jaipur was cancelled by the retreat house, suddenly)

><> How much it costs? I have enquired and booked the Vinayalaya Retreat Center, conveniently located and close to Andheri Railway in Mumai and bus stations, etc, for the 3 days Youth Conference from April 29-1May, 2010. The plan is to invite about 50 suitable, born again youth aged 16-35 yrs; to provide boarding and lodging for all and to reimburse one-way travel fare to the poor needy students from north India only. Here are the charges for the facilities they provide for us:
Board & Lodge per person per day: Rs 200. 00. Hall charges per day : Rs 750. 00
So for 50 participants for 3 days, it will come to : Rs 32, 250.00
(200x50x3=30,000. 00 + 750.00x3)
Add One-way Travel fares (approx): (50x500) : Rs 25,000. 00
Miscellaneous expenses (Stationery, publicity, etc) : Rs 3,000. 00
Total planned budget is approx : Rs 61,000. 00 (US $ 1500.00)
We look to the Lord to provide this amount through His people. Please pray that the Lord may manifest His glory and inspire the youth to reach out to the unreached millions in the north Indian States.As you pray and share in this vision, it is possible to win India for Christ! Amen.

>> The very important things, i.e. living a victorious life and being a disciple and the communication style useful in society. These I have learnt and will soon adapt into my life.

To God be all the glory for all the great things He has done during the earlier Youth Fests in Goa, Mumbai and Agra. This time again, we want to make a difference in the lives of many young people from North India. It is possible only when you are involved in this vision and want to share in the joys of seeing the next generation mentored and prepared for God’s work. Together we can! Amen.
