Lord Jesus called and chose a few people to be with Him and to
send them (Mark 3:14). During Hsi earthly life, we notice that the
Lord Jesus spent much of His time and ministry with these few chosen
people who left everything and were committed to follow Him all
the time. He taught them and trained them and then commissioned
them to pass on all they learned to others. They were called His
disciples and were commanded to go and make disciples of all nations.
Matthew 28:18-20.
So, a disciple is one who follows the Master so closely that He
will reproduce His life in others.
By use and reuse of the truths learned from the Master, a disciple
grows in His commitment and obedience to the Master.
Lord Jesus called people to follow Him, to become His disciples
and then make others too His disciples.
